Prominent black politician and civil rights activist Andrew Young:
"When asked if Wal-Mart meant the death of mom-and-pop stores, Young told the Los Angeles Sentinel, "They ran the mom-and-pop stores out of my neighborhood, but you see, those are the people who have been overcharging us, selling us stale bread and bad meat and wilted vegetables. "First it was Jews, then it was Koreans and now it's Arabs. Very few black people own these stores," Young said.
But blacks cannot be racist, of course -- or so the Left tell us.

If a white man said that LA would be rioting right now. What a stupid double-standard. You won't get many libbies to address that question, it hits that heart of the matter.

First let me just say I found Dizz's answer true and funny! As for your question I think Wal-Mart got what they deserve, screwed! This guy Young is an @$$h*le in the ranks of Sharpton and Jesse etc. The black community should be pissed off that some douchebag like them have the audacity to speak for the black community as a whole, and they should boycott Wal-Mart (everyone should). I am a 'Liberal' thinker with a fiscally Conservative policy, I do not limit myself to 'repub' or 'dem' BS and anyone that does is merely a puppet of the real terror in America, those in Washington DC.

What do I think of it? I think it's great to see the left and the right pointing at each other and crying "Racist!" Not only because it's entertaining, but also because it means that no one wants to be accused of racism.
Wouldn't it be great if their anti-racist poses were for real?
Also, it makes me wonder how long it will take them to realize that left and right are just artifacts of when this country was a democracy. Even the right is far left of the fascist dictatorship of the "Decider".

is it racism if they speak the truth ? find out for yourself. step 1. move to ghetto, stay for several years. step 2. buy food at local stores. is bread stale ? is the owner named Mohamed ? ...and about wal-mart, 80% of merchandise is from china ,a communist slave state. why was communism bad for viet Nam but now that the rich figured a way to make a buck from them they become a-OK .#1 favored-nation status ?thank you,

Big effing deal. Deal with it. You Repubs are racist so you have no f*cking right to point your fingers at someone who is racist. And the libs don't have to apologize to YOU for someone being racist. We may apologize to the people who feel discriminated against, but not for hell, not to you. You repubs fix your own ugliness first and then try to raise your finger.

I'm a liberal by any measure, and Young's comments are racist. Of course blacks can be racist, and many are.

Well, he's right about the "mom and pop" store. They are way overpriced and have crap merchandise. I am all for Walmart and other big box stores.
Love, Jack.
