Even if it is ethanol, you can't drink it. It is called "technical alcohol" and has dangerous additives which can cause you to have seizures or worse. This is what Russians are putting into their own liquor and many people are dying from it.
An alcohol just means that there is an "-OH group" attached to the molecule. If it is methanol, for example it is CH3 - OH.

It's a purer type of alcohol, the alcohol we drink only tastes ok because its got wine grapes or whatever mixed in with it. Pure alcohol would taste like crap. I asked a science teacher at school once, if you could drink the alcohol we had in the labs and she said that it wouldn't kill you but it would make you vomit probably.

look at the ingredients - if it says
Isopropyl alcohol / Propanol then it isn't the same as drinking alcohol
If it says Ethanol - then it is the same
