disconnect the negative battery cable.connect a 12 volt lite or meter that reads voltage, between the cable and battery.if the lite
comes on or meter registers, there definitely is a problem.with the lite on,pull the fuses one at a time.when the lite goes out, there is the problem,it is in that circuit. it is a definite pain in the ***. good luck.

Sounds as though you have a problem with something that doesn't turn off when it should. Get an ammeter. First, remove one of the wires from the battery, and put the ammeter between the battery terminal and the end of the wire. The ammeter should show a bit of current if you have something staying on.

All right, once you have established something is staying switched on, it's time to figure out what. Look for the obvious - you may have your trunk light staying on, or something else that you can actually see it's not shut off. If not, it's time to get out the ammeter again.

Go to the fuse box. Remove a fuse and put the ammeter across the terminals where the fuse was. If it shows any currently, you've found what circuit the leak is on. If not, put the fuse back in and move on to the next.

Good luck.
