In fact most were farmers, just plain people trying to form a better society. I believe it takes a common good people to develop the kind of society that we had, now its every man for him self, what a shame it has gone this way.

Yet, they were educated men. Formal education 230 years ago was much different. Go back and read their works, and you will be humbled.

You are so right. Because the founding fathers were who they were and lived in the time they did their thoughts were of the highest intentions. At that time in history there was little formal education that was accessible to regular citizens but because they had less distractions than we do many set about educating themselves and thinking. They also had access to information from other places of social changes such as the French Revolution and others to draw on.

Well they werent formally educated but they did have an education of sorts. It had to do with certain affilliations that they had that, at the time were a means of supplimental education. A way of bringing men into a civilized form of society.

I agree completely with you and disagree with jh when he said they were educated and it's he who needs to go and really read up on this subject.
Our founding fathers were men who had great dreams for this country and would never want it to have become what it is today. They meant for each citizen to be treated equal and not be judged by others just for their beliefs or religion either but wanted everyone to be able to have the freedom to go after their dreams and not to have one government try to rule the world and keep freedom out of reach.
This is the form of education they had, in their hearts and minds for what is best for this country that they all loved so dearly and for their dreams to literally go up in smoke is something that our government should be ashamed of themselves for.
Our own government is a government that has caused so much death and shame not only to it's citizens but the world as well. If this is what has happened to the dreams of our founding fathers then our world is doomed. We all need to go back and read what they meant and learn how to follow their words if we are to survive and to take our government and ask that they close the door as they leave and for them to leave now and to slam the door as they go through it.
Yes it's a shame that our government doesn't do as they are to do and work for "We the people" as it's written they do instead of lining their own pockets with money from our pockets. Our government steals from it's citizens and lies to protect themselves from the law, in fact now the highest office of this country has changed so many laws already just to keep his shinny a*s out of trouble and this isn't what the founding fathers ever wanted at all.
I for one am so ashamed of our government for it's unlawful behaver and I have lost respect for it too.
I guess I will be blasted to this but ask me if I care.

Nope, but they all smoked dope!!! And when they were smoking their intelligence level multiplied by the thousands because they were able to reach a plane of existance that only a few of us could reach. The marijuana back in the day was some strong stuff cuz it was legal. Imagine where this country would be without marijuana!!! I think it should be the country flower.

They weren't formally educated because there were very few schools here. But almost all were very well read in the classics.

The fore-fathers are rolling in their graves right now, especially Ben Franklin. God rest his soul. They never saw that this insane tyranny was coming for this country. They would spit in the face of every member of this administration and raise a call of rebellion.

Trying to form a better society for THEMSELVES. Those loosers didn't form a government that gave any rights to women, Indians or enslaved blacks.
