this has happened to me a few times, and Ive seen it happens to others...

Being nice is good infact we need more nice people now, but if someone is nice and stupid then dont blame those who take
advantage, theres an old saying
'Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me'
Now do the following
1 Be on the look out for such devious people
2 Dont Stop being nice
3 Learn from your past experiences regardinng mean people and how to handle them.
Life is sometimes a bit harsh, and things happen so we could learn from them, a baby when they are learning to walk they fall and thats because they are still in the leraning process of the walking techniqe, but the fall dosent stop them there they keep on trying and eventually learn to walk. Likewise life is a continouse process of learning so learn from your past experiences and apply them in your life. But there are still gonna be people who are mean and who will figure out a way to decive you but that dosent mean you should stop being nice...be nice but keep your eyes pealed and have fun in the process ..lighten up :D

Because too many people like to take advantage of a good thing. I used to be one of those "nice people" who always ended up getting walked all over - until I learned one simple little word: "NO". It takes some getting used to saying, but once you get the hang of it, you will find that your life will be so much better because you won't be getting trampled on every time you do something nice for someone.
They will learn to adjust to it - and so will you. If they are just using you because you DO things for them, and then get mad because you have learned to use this new word, then you didn't really need them in your life anyway!

Us nice people tend not to want to believe that the world is a bad place. It's happened to me, a few times. Keep your head up, they'll regret it later. Like the old saying, "People takes kindness for weakness." Keep your heart pure and don't become evil.

some people see kindness and niceness as the same as weakness. those people are the losers in life even if they get the upper hand sometimes. keep being nice. don't become mean and disillusioned. there are a lot of us nice people out here. we need to support each other. try to learn to read people better so you can avoid getting burned so oftern by the callous people. bye

The world that we live in is wicked. Everyone is out for personal gain. You have people that would step on friends and family to get what they want. My advice is for you to continue being kind to others, but at the same time be careful of those around you. Help others but don't sacrifice yourself.

yeah, I used to be super nice, and I ended up getting hurt all the time, they sometimes tend to treat you like a doormat, and they start to abuse the kindness you offer. Its good to be nice but you must also learn to make a limit of that offer, teach them that you can be polite and at the same time be respected for that kindness you can give.

I think everyone gets hurt at sometime - nice or not. The difference is how we handle hurt. Do we learn from it and move on or do we wallow in it. You just have to move on and know that you are now a little stronger and little wiser.

It is a sucky situation. If you're mean, you feel guilty, and if you're nice, they'll either take it for granted, walk all over you, or both.
I guess you just have to keep being nice, but a lot more careful of whom you trust.

Sometimes when a person is nice to another person, that may cause the person to walk all over you and take advantage of your kindness.

The trick is to be nice while not allowing yourself to be taken advantage of. Lend your friend money, but don't let him get money from you over and over, and make sure he pays you back. That sort of thing.
