I was hoping when the channel was put on air we'd get quality programming like Star Trek.

It is the program producer that does not wish to pay for big name movies. But with that said, they will be leaving the air, if they don't get better sponsorship.

They carried Star Trek for a number of years....next ST they'll be carrying is the Scott Bakula version that just ended on UPN. And what's wrong with Stargate and Stargate Atlantis? But, I am trying to figure out why they're carrying ECW wrestling - that kind of stretches the definition of sci-fi.

As long as I have the Twilight Zone, I'm okay. That is the only thing I have ever watched on The Sci-Fi Channel

Some of the shows and movies on the sci-fi channel are great, but that is only a few. I agree, sci-fi needs better shows and movies.

I remember at the same time as my cable service presented that we were going to acquire "Sc-Fi' channel. i became thinkin' oh boy, classic videos, old series that weren't syndicated, and so on.,and so on. Hoo boy became I incorrect. they have had some tremendous stuff on, like "Battlestar Galactica". That became fantastic, yet for Gods sake, what number more desirable " attack of the Mutant Amazon Snakehead Terrors from the Sasquatch Planet" do I easily ought to sit down down through? God i might want to like to artwork as a programmer for that channel.

i agree with you. some of the programs are ok but i would like to see some of the old sci fi movies like from the 50's.

I only watch the movies on there, but some of the programs are ok, like Twilight Zone..but the new stuff kinda sucks

i like some of the shows they air... Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Eureka, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, John Doe, Quantum Leap, Farscape, etc... just cant stand some of the movies....

I'm enjoying the heck out of Dead Like Me and Eureka. Best things on TV right now until the new fall season starts.
