actually, i'm about to buy a new bike and looking around me, i'm utterly confused as to which bike to actually go for... ive had a look at various forums and comments on the bikes mentioned above... but i've not been satisfied as yet.... i wanted comparisons in terms of top speeds if possible...

Please do not compare Pulsar with Discover. Pulsar is raw power and discover is something that you can use to go to your office, Discover is good in av-rage but when it comes to power pulsar is way ahead and look if average is not your weak point then you should deffinately go for pulsar. I don't know if you have a KTM dealer in India but do check out there purpose built machines. go on line. There bikes come from fewer suppliers Bajaj looks like a machine made from Yamaha Honda and other motor cycle parts.
