Because most people have such low self esteem that if they don't have people pretending to thin they are important, they won't be able to live. They need constant validation that someone wants or needs them. A mobile phone helps them fill this need. No one really needs a mobile phone, ever, and the crap these moron say on their mobiles could not only wait, but the world would be a better place if it was never said.

mobile phones ,lot's of new varities of mobile phones, new camera mobiles, we can shoot video in mobiles,we can hear songs,radios, we can record sounds,we can use it as our daily diary, LAST OF ALL WE CAN PHONE OR CALL OTHERS. When mobile phones were discoverd we could only use it to call others.
Mobile phones is containing aTV,A RADIO,A VIDEOCAMERA, A TAPE RECORDER,A CAMERA.
sO EVERY PEOPLE WANTS A MOBILE IN THEIR POCKETS. not only in INDIA but also in MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD WANTS A MOBILE...................
