He wasn't elected twice. The first time he sued in order to be installed as President.

The U.S. certainly does deserve better, but unfortunately we're seeing the downside of democracy here: there is no reason to expect that we'll elect people better than ourselves. If you watch daytime television (Jerry Springer, Judge Judy, Oprah, etc.) and the televangelists, it's very clear why we wound up with Bush as President. We have a crisis here, not just of leadership, but also of ineffective followers. Americans, collectively, seem to have neither the knowledge, understanding, nor courage to elect a true leader, especially with the Republicans' skill at playing to Americans' cowardice.

We will see this November if Americans can overcome this fault.

President Bush isn't stupid just because losers say he is.

People who can't make a reasoned argument say George W Bush is stupid. These people say President Bush stole the elction. These people will say anything other than the obvious, which is if they were smarter they would have won the last two elections.

George W Bush's opponents didn't have a better plan on how they would run America, so they lost their elections.

The American people aren't stupid when picking a President. The losers who didn't have a better plan are the stupid ones.

His dumber than a box of rocks and his handlers know this. He makes a decent puppet, very predictable and will follow what he is told.

Now, why was he elected? Actually he wasn't once, he was appointed. In both elections there was a fair amount of cheating done at the polls and in counting the ballots. To paraphrase Josef Stalin -- It's not important who votes or for whom, what matters is who counts the votes.

Money seems to talk even in the voting booth. Something the many past presidents have warned us against including Abraham Lincoln.

I don't think gw was ever 'freely' elected. The first election was decided by Katherine Harris, the painted harlot of Florida and the second was something of a sham it's self. Unfortunately technology, with all of its benefits has also given rise to a new sort of con-man/ carpet bagger. The information age is all too often one of misinformation and outright lies. gw is not 'stupid, quite the opposite he is intelligent enough to hire the best thugs (rove, cheney and rummy) to spread his reign of terror and fear throughout the weak and infirm of the mind (AKA busheepple, bush-bots, neocons, rethuglicans and repukes). gw isn't a good president, and yes the US does deserve better, unfortunately far too many are swayed by transparent propaganda and fear tactics.

First time he won, he got help from the Supreme Court, His brother who's a governor in Florida and the Secretary of State of Florida. Second time, It's fearmongering. People were afraid of changing of parties fearing it'd get worse.

Well, that is the paradox of liberal thought. People too stupid to make decisions for themselves, that is require government guidance on everything from what to eat to how to raise their children, are some how smart enough to select the best person to tell them what to do.

Guess it doesn't really work. Or maybe it does.

BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME, IDIOTS IN FLORIDA DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY PUNCH OUT HOLES IN THEIR BALLOTS SO THEIR VOTES WERE THROWN OUT. AND HIS BROTHER WAS GOVERNOR THERE SO HE HAD THE SUPREME COURT DECLARE HIM THE WINNER.

SECOND TIME, HE USED SCARE TACTICS TO BRAINWASH IDIOTS TO VOTE FOR HIM. JUST BEFORE THE ELECTION, THE THREAT LEVEL WAS RAISED TO RED, BUT SINCE HE WAS REELECTED YOU HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THREAT LEVELS.

Worry about your own country and leave the United States alone. When you learn how to construct a proper sentence get back to Yahoo questions, dumbass.
