city pop is about 1 million, throw in all the suburbs and its about 3 million. it isnt a pretty city, except for the mountains that surround it. smog can be a prob but not anything like df. but its modern and very commercial, nothing like the laid-back colonial parts of other mexican cities. i have lots of family there and lived there a couple of years and liked it but jobs was an issue for me. i couldnt put it together. sigh. visit first.

Nope ! You have made our point and you haven`t a clue ! If you are comparing the South to Mexico , then that is a fair statement if you factor in the South has the highest number of Illegal aliens in the nation , So all the Illegals are doing is bringing their **** hole lifestyles to the USA , jabbering in their native tongue which of course lowers the standard of living for all ! Take the 15 million Illegals out of the equation and the standard increases 10 fold for the entire USA ! For instance , North Carolina's` Illegal population increased by over 750,000 in the last census ; a 100% increase ? What is the point ? The point is that North Carolina at the maximum grants only 350,000 green cards in 10 years ? So you can figure out where the other 400,000 came from that has lowered the lifestyle of the real citizens in NC and the rest of the Southern States !

It's about 3 million. It's number 3 for population in Mexico. Guadalajara is now up to appox. 7.5 million and Mexico City vies for 1st place in the world with a flucuating pop. of somewhere around 28 million.
I've lived in Guadalajara now for 9 years. Been to Monterray on business a bunch of times. I would not want to live there. It's hot and stagnent in the summer with the stench of steel mills and it snows in the winter. Not enough snow to play in just cold. There are good things going on there but not enough to get me interested.

Over 3 million. Third largest city in Mexico

Mexico City - 20 million (largest city in the world)
Guadalajara - 6 million
Then comes Monterrey.

However, Los Angeles is the 3rd largest "Mexican" city in the world.

That is my answer from Washington, D.C.

I don't know about all that. I do know that Red States are where most America Haters reside. They place a higher allegiance to their church - than to the nation. I've seen it .... and it's true. ..
