Well there is Caffeine, after many years of drinking coffee it stains your teeth, makes you stimulated and nervous, and caffeine is actually a drug. But don't be worried caffeine isn't really that harmful to your body until you've been drinking it for a long time.

For me, it is spilling it on my white shirt when I'm at work, or spilling it on my desk. My office has coffee stains all over the floor. Very harmful when it is super hot and hits my skin!
I've got a bunch of white shirts with coffee stains. I'm thinking about soaking them all in coffee so that the color will be consistent.

The caffeine in coffee can cause tachycardia (fast heartbeat), insomnia, nervousness and tremors if you drink too much. Coffee can also stain your teeth. Those are the only bad effects I've heard of.
