I actually make some of my own clothes. I listen to music that the mass public never even heard of. Most of the people in my age group that I have encountered are not interested in the government or news ( I like to see what people are being fed), they are like animals following the herd because they were taught to do so. Most people say I'm wierd, that is because I don't act as they do. I don't buy into the lastest cell phone, or the latest band because I am truly not interested in it. I'm also a visual artist, and my true colors come out in the projects I do in college, and the views and ideas I project.

I dont buy things becuse they are in style unless i like them...but i do have to make a point...when a person tries to seperate themselves from the crowd it really means that they are trying to be just like everyone else...because fashion and styles are every other persons way of being different from everyone else. Its really just a vicious never ending cycle...a group of people starts wearing something because its not trendy and BAM! its all of a sudden trendy...

Oh..Oh..I've got my hand raised...pick me..pick me! I could care less what the in-style look is...I'm sittin' here in a pair a comfy p.j.'s with Happy Faces all over them in an office with Happy Faces plastered all over....I haven't heard of anybody that's done that before so I think that's pretty original. But hey...check out my 360 to see how original my office looks...I'm crazy for Happy Faces...
I say...be yourself...not the other guy! That's what make's a person unique !!
Tickles and giggles...

People buy into style sometimes because they actually like what is being offered. Others, of course, do it for status (think Hummer vehicles - what a joke), but then again I suppose others still do it because they sort of have to in corporate America in order to get ahead. Tsk, tsk. What's a person to do?

Hang out with an older crowd, and make friends that don't necessarily listen to the same music that you do. You will find that a lot of people are just "themselves".

If something is "in", its an immediate turn off for me......and that goes for everything. Fashion, music, television, books.......I don't like to do things that EVERYONE is doing.
