Being the highly enlightened and brilliant individual that I am, I have far too much dignity and self respect to even entertain thoughts of responding humorously, or in any other fashion, to this question!!

Self respect is believing you have the right to your opinion. Ego is believing everyone else has the right to your opinion.

I believe self-respect is how you treat yourself, i.e. how you dress, what you eat, do you exercise, how you behave around others.... Ego concerns how you react to other peoples behavior, attitudes and speech when they interact with you.
