I think if you have to make it a day trip to see someone, it's long-distance.

My boyfriend lives half an hour away from me and I don't consider it a long distance relationship at all, we actually live in the same city! But then again we are 18 and 22 and both have cars and liscences, so it makes it very easy. When I go to college an hour and a half away, THAT will be long distance! But I think it will work because we have an awesome relationship.

It is not distance. It is measured in time... the time that it takes to get to the person that you are in a relationship when you decide you wish to be with them in person.

More than 4 hours away is a long distance relationship.

I see you are 13. So more that an hour is a long distance relationship... but be glad you have email because in my day it was slow mail and now you can get a CAM on your computer and see each other live and/or email or chat with each other so it isn't bad at all.

Well, it depends. Do you have a car and a license? If not, more than 30 miles would be long distance. If you do have a car about an hour's drive.

I don't know about miles but I consider it a long distance relationship when you can't see each other whenever you want. If you have to plan a trip to see them it's a long distance relationship

you dont need to be in a serious relationship at that age.. but the answer to your question for me would be from Little Rock Arkansas to Indianapolis, Indiana (dont knw how many miles that would be) I was also 17 at the time

If you are far enough away where you cannot reasonably afford to drive to their house every day, then it is long distance.
