The vikings landed on america and described the land full of vines and grapes..where did they land?

Probably it's somewhere on the Atlantic Coast, north of the mouth of the St. Lawrence River. Most likely it's somewhere in Labrador. See the attached Web pages regarding the Vineland Map.

Vineland could be either in Canada or Greenland, neither of which has grapes. The climate might have been different then. It's also possible that Vineland is a mistranslation I suppose. But the direction they went means that it has to be somewhere in that general direction. They couldn't have missed North America.
