need windows XP,CD ROM,DVD re-writer,wireless compatible

Look around on e-bay. as for XP you can make that run on most 'puters, I got a 10 yr old Toshiba Sat Pro running XP(slowly) =0)( and MS-Dos 6.22, Win98, Knoppix, Free BSD) cd/dvd-rom are usually quite compatable and available second hand for £10 - £40(again, E-bay).
Wireless compatable? most laptops gots a pcmcia slot, or usb ports, both of these could be used to (cheaply) provide wireless connectivity to lappys
