Bus stops are placed in designated areas for children attending school. These stops may be constructed and placed by the school district or township. I would check with the local township supervisor or school district and see if you can have it moved. Better to be cautious than not.

Call the bus company and ask that the bus stop be removed from your property. If they are unwilling to do that you need to make it very uncomfortable for people to use (and abuse) your property.
Put up a no trespassing sign and if anyone comes on your property, call the police and INSIST on a report being written (if they have left by the time the police arrive, or insist on them being arrested and charged if not.
The police will not want to do anything but tell the people to leave. They do not want to make tress passing arrests or have the crime statistics inflated, but if they do not take action, ask that a supervisor come to the scene.
You can also turn on the lawn sprinkler and "accidentally" have it spraying on the bus stop.
You should not be deprived of the peaceful use of your property by others!

Yes it is actually possible. Go talk to the local bus driver who is in charge of picking those people up and find a witness. Thats what happenend to me when the bus stop was s o far so thay placed it somewhere else so residents wont complain. Good Luck with that!

What I would do is take a month off work, and then devote myself to annoying the people at the bus stop. It is your yard, so they can't do anything about it if you go out there, jam to loud tunes, do cartwheels in your robe with nothing on underneath, etc. Pretty soon no one will want to wait at the stop because there's some weird tune jamming dude freaking them out, and once no one waits at that stop anymore, the bus line will move the stop to somewhere else.
Good Luck!

I really don't think you can do anything about it. It's a City service, and they have a right to put their bus stops wherever they want. Hassle the people, it's probably the same ones everyday. Maybe they will stop their nonsense if you give 'em hell!

You need to go to City Hall with a formal complaint. In the meantime, maybe put up a No Trepassing and No Littering sign. Good luck.
