I know what you mean. When we try very hard to listen to our hearts, other things seem to interfere, like conscience, logic, mom's blabbering...lol.. So we can't really hear what the heart's gotta say.
Well, if you're really wondering what your heart's trying to tell you, try to clear your mind, tell yourself repeatedly that you really don't care what other ppl think, or what you've been told by others... That you only want to make a decision that's best for YOU!
word of caution... what we want to hear is really what we already secretly desire. So, it's really your inner desires but you're not sure now coz other ppl are telling you otherwise, maybe your own conscience telling you otherwise.
My advice is be smart, list out all pros and cons and deduce whats best from there.
