How can I tell when i find a good travel agent and not one thats trying to take me for a fool?

AAA is very good and they offer many travel services, my wife and i have used them for years.

A good travel agent is one who gives you options
One who listens u
One who gives the best value for money
One who makes u feel that u are the most important

Does he listen and make recommendations or does he just try to sell something that will make a big profit. Get referals from your friends. A good safe choice is the Auto Club in your area if it offers that service.
