I've got to go with former President Ronald Reagan. Whether you loved him or hated him - here was a man who was at all times genial, thoughtful, and a living example of total class. He revered the office he held and did his job diligently and with conviction and always with the heart of genuine patriot. Finally, he faced the thing that most terrifies me--Alzheimer's--with dignity and wit right up to the end--and fighting every step of the way. Like Margaret Thatcher said at his wake,"Today we come to pay homage to the Great Warrior". True enough. I truly feel that we lost one of the truly "great ones" when Reagan passed away. I doubt we'll have any like him in our service again any time soon. A great pity.

Definitely Princess Di. I remembered it vividly coz I was reading a book when my mom called me and told me that she was just in an accident. Then came the news of her death and her funeral. It was very sad and tragic to have lost someone that people look up to, respect, admire and love. This month is her 9th death anniversary. RIP Lady Diana.

I would have to say Corretta Scott King. When she died it was like MLK dying again, but so much more painful because I was alive during this time and I know what she did for the civil rights of all people. She touched many peoples lives, including mine.

Christopher Reeve. He was such a wonderful guy, and he was pretty much my hero. He was Superman, then he was paralyzed, but he never stopped fighting for what is right. He proved the world that he really was Superman, even from the wheelchair.
