PCD were more like dancers and they dressed the same as they do in their "Buttons" music video. The P!ATD music video is easy enough to explain, the girl(bride) was doing things that made her a whore w/ the guy who ran out after her. and thats pretty much it I guess. I understand the video because I understand the song completly!

PCD were a burlesque show. They were not strippers, but they did an erotic dance show, dressed pretty much the same as they do now. They had a show in Vegas for many years, and have had a lot of guest star celebrities dance with them, including Christina Applegate, Carmen Electra, Christina Aguilera, Brittany Murphey, Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Willa Ford, Paris Hilton, and many more.

I can answer the first of your questions. The PCDs worked in one of Johnny Depp's clubs. They were strippers, or at least "dancers".
