Go to a big cat rescue location (any zoo can direct you to one) and talk to the people who take care of all the fully grown big cats that nobody wants anymore because they cost a fortune to feed and aren't cute when they get to be adults.

Tigers are beautiful, but.... in the end, they are carnivorous wild animals that kill and eat animals bigger than you or your kids.

You'll need a whole lot of infrastructure to keep a maturing tiger--probably a lot more than you can afford. And 50 pounds of steak a day?? And it might be illegal.

Not a good idea. Even if the tiger likes you, they play rough and can accidentally injure you.

Bad Idea. That tiger cub will grow up. When you end up in his poop you will have no one to blame but yourself. There is a reason they are only kept safely in zoos and circuses. Ask Roy of Sigfried and Roy how he feels about it.

I don't think that is a good idea, Tiger's are wild animals and when full grown (especially) can turn on you. You can't domesticate them!!!

That tiger will grow up to be mean and fierce, unless you can figure out a way to train it, then go ahead.

They are cute as cubs but they will certainly reach 400-800 pounds at maturity.

That sounds really cool, but you have to be carefull and train it VERY well. Even if it is trained it is still wild. GOOD LUCK
