Cold reading is a technique used by tarot card readers, psychics, palm readers, astrologers, and even con men to get people to believe that the cold reader knows all about them, even though they have never met. Unlike hot reading, cold reading uses no secretly obtained or other advance knowledge about the person being read. Cold reading relies on an inventory of vague statements about the person's personality, tailored feedback, selective recall of correct impressions, and an assortment of other tricks. The most effective weapon is the stock spiel, a set of statements about the person that are vague enough to fit anyone yet deceptively seem specific.

The MIND, as repeated stated, is a subtle body of vibrational energy that actually exists in another dimension of reality. This is the reason the physical brain will never be able to perceive the MIND.

Some people are born with a natural ability to access the MIND realm. We refer to these people as having a psychic ability, or we mock them, harass them, and in earlier times, we simply killed them... this was due to the level of fear some people have for the "unknown" within themselves. That unknown consists of the MIND and Spiritual realms.

As one achieves access to his/her MIND realm, one automatically increases ones empathic ability.... which is to say, ones ability for Direct Esoteric communication. DEc is a subtle communication between MINDs. This communication is always going on, but it is rare that one is able to access it or participate in it consciously.

What is active within ones MIND can be empathically "read" by another with the ability to use DEc. That is, what is active within your MIND naturally stimulates the same elements in another's MIND... and if that other has developed an ability for empathy, then that other can "read" what is going on within your MIND.

Remember, communication at the level of the MIND, or in the MIND realm, which is in another vibrational realm of reality is not like "thinking" which is linear. MIND level communication is by Direct perception and is concept based. The person empathically receiving DEc from the MIND of another must "fill-in" the particulars of the concept being received.... and this is essentially guess work.

Is this really a question for the psychology section?
Or should this be in entertainment?

ABSOLUTELY.
YOUR ACTIONS ARE ALL REVEALING ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF, AND HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHERS.
YOUR ACTIONS MAKE YOUR AGENDA TRANSPARENT TO SOMEONE WHO IS PAYING ATTENTION.
MOST PEOPLE ARE TOO SEF-ABSORBED TO PAY THAT CLOSE ATTENTION, ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF THEMSELVES, OR MAKE EXCUSES FOR SOMEONE'S ACTIONS BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE THE TRUTH....THESE BEHAVIORS MAKE IT HARDER TO READ OTHER PEOPLE.
WE CAN ALL READ EACH OTHER'S MIND, SO TO SPEAK, WHEN WE LOSE THE BEHAVIORS THAT CLOUD OUR PERCEPTION AND INTUITION.
SCARY, ISN'T IT?
