I have sims 2 and at first it didn't work on our computer because it didn't have enough memory but then we got a new one and Sims 2 worked, i played it for months but then eventually uninstalled it to play another computer game. Now when i try to re install Sims 2 it gets to about 22% done then dosen't work. Can anyone tell me why and what i need to do to get it to work again?

Not sure but if you go to http://www.modthesims2.com and look in their help section, they probably have an answer and a way to fix this. Good luck.

Maybe your CD/DVD is scratched? Try cleaning it by using a soft, wet towel and gently brushing in lines away from the center of the disc. Also, if your computer has multiple optical drives, try using another one.
