It wouldn't seem the Republicans would think so. A common reply from them is ... "Bush isnt the only one running the country."
or " Hes just one man"
"everyone else voted for it to" yadda yadda yadda As though none of what is happening right now is his fault.

But when talking about Clinton.... he has plunged the world into world war three, hes invited tragedy, hes ruined the economoy, hes the cause of of the Iraq problem now.. yadda yadda yadda and he did All This While Getting A Lickin' in the Oval Office! LOL

President Bush needs to be held accountable for all his actions, just like they would expect of any other person. He is the elected Presedent of the United States, he is elected to run the USA for its people, and there for he works for the people of the USA. I and enragged when he gets up there and says he doesn't have to clear his action through any one,..... yes he does.

What happened to our right, our civil liberties?
Why do we have old people dying cuz they can't afford to eat and get their medications?
Why do we have a so overlooked problems with drugs and gang?
What about the whole Katrina Disaster?
Why is our economy failing?
Why is our education systems getting worse instead of better? Why is ok for someone to protest a a fallen soliders funeral who died doing what they were told to do (if they agree or not), but you are arrested for voicing your opion about this adminstration (because if you don't agree with it you are unpatriotic and a terrosist?)?
Tell me why we have over 3,000. Military Troops dying in Iraq, when Osama Bin Ladin is galivanting around in Asia?

This adminstration has been fueled by their own greed, shunning its people they work for, because they don't think they should be accountable for any thing, but their own money.

I have always believed former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara under the administrations of Presidents Kennedy and Johnson should be tried for war crimes and crimes against the state. As should have also been tried, President Lyndon Johnson.

But, it will never happen...

YES HE IS ACCOUNTABLE!

He needs to return, with interest, all the sponsorship and campaign financing the multi-national corporations invested in him

He is so far proven a good investement with profit at military and oil companies way up.
One thing right-wingers are always good for is demanding a return on investment because corporations are god/

Reagan was called the Teflon president. I can't , for the life of me, recall the name of this new non-stick material. So far, Bush seems to be coated in that. All we can do is pray that something gives before he super glues us all to a wall.

On one issue and to one group, he seemed to be accountable. To the far Christian right who objected to his nomination of his pal Harriette Myers to the Supreme Court. There was an uproar from the far right who objected to her wishy washy stand against abortion. Her name was withdrawn and replaced with Alito. And to the far right, Bush has held firm on his stand against stem cell research, and withholding aid to areas of the world if abortion or birth control is connected.

President Bush is responsible for everything happening in the country but he cannot be questioned nor can he be accountable for anything! Isn't it strange that this is so in a democratic country?
