please tell me about this because I have to give information on this topic as a project and you can tell me like these are the causes to water pollution_______________.

smoke(like from factories), this also causes acid rain, and kills fish.. Oil spills.. The most common is the first one i gave you, the rest should be self explanatory

Three main kinds of water pollutions:

1) Eutrophication which is due to fertilizers dissolving in water that runs into the sea. This leads to high algae growth and when they die, they decompose and this depletes the oxygen supply

2) Sewage which consists of organic waste that stimulates growth of bacteria which in turn also depletes the oxygen supply. Sewage also contains toxic waste like mercury that kill aquatic life and oil that prevents oxygen from dissolving into the sea.

3) Oil Spills

water pollution is caused by mainly industries who do not treat their effluents and discharge the effluents untreated int the rivers and sea polluting the water.also the sewage water is supposed to be discharged into the sea at a minimum distance away from the shore but industries do not follow theses norms
water pollution also is caused by faulty design allowing sewage water to get mixed with drinking water.
