I make soap, grow my own veggies, make craft things from bamboo, and make candles. I also walk for fitness, grow my own cooking herbs, and am finishing a Masters degree. The hobby is the journey, what is the purpose of doing something? If it has no purpose you will soon lose interest. It should also engage your passions and be physically, intellectually, or spiritually stimulating.

This is a good question..
Hmm.. some hobbies.
Some of my hobbies include decorating and designing when I actually have the stuff I need to do that with. Cleaning and making things tidy is a good hobby, too, although most people don't look at that as a hobby, but more of a chore, lol. Reading is a great hobbie, too. Get a good book that relates to you and read it. And when I'm at my lowest, I usually watch TV and movies, and go on the internet on some sites. For example, this one, miniclip.com, i-am-bored.com, livejournal, and so on.

Model railways is a great hobby and thousands of females are well involved in it. Get a mag in Smiths and look for a local show venue nearest to you, visit and a whole new world is at your doorstep covering card kit construction to electrical engineering to architectural design, landscape design, historical research... the list really is endless and there will be a niche for you and maybe your whole family.

Collecting things: stamps, coins, bottles, Avon, Barbies, buttons
Needlecrafts: embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, tatting (making lace), sewing - (that way you can design your own wardrobe and have one you really like).
Crafting: decoupage, clock making, floral arranging, jewelry making, woodburning, stamping, scrapbooking, painting on glass,
painting, decorating clothing, ceramics
Jo-Ann's and Michaels are two very crafty places - seearch for them on the web and I know you will come up with tons of ideas for a hobby.

I think if you need something to do with your time, the best thing you could do is start a fitness routine. just a little bit at first, but then work up to being a fitness buff. you would be amazed at how it improves every other aspect of your life.

Music is one of the most rewarding activities you can ever perform.
Pick up an instrument, learn to play it and enjoy.
