OK, let's break this into three categories; slow, medium and fast.

For a slow song I would go all the way back to 1958. The name of the song is " All In The Game ". It was a beautiful song with great lyrics and it was a huge #1 hit. But most importantly, it's one of the few really huge hits that's never been remade. It still sounds good today but it would really benefit from some updating.

A good middle tempo song would be " Sexual Healing " by Marvin Gaye. It's been sampled in a couple of recent songs so the public has some degree of familiarity with it. Gentle soul, rock-and-roll. It's a song that makes you want to just close your eyes and drift away.

Although both of the songs above were originally recorded by male vocalists, the lyrics were not gender specific and could easily be converted for a female artist.

A good up-tempo song would be " Bad Girls " that was done by Donna Summer back in '79. Rebellious lyrics, kind of sexy and an unforgettable hook make it a song that would sound good again.

What ever you choose, good luck.

Don't remake anything. I hate remakes. Think up your own ideas. Why can't anyone write music anymore? Must new artists just rip off great music and turn it to crap? While I can't stop you from remaking music, if you do anything by the Beetles you should know that is a sin and you will probably go straight to hell.

This is a serious answer. Do you know Scooter - No Fate? Download it on eMule or DC++ or whenever if you don't. Now, the song is good but it is very old and it lacks "the sound". I mean it sounds as if you shut your radio in a barrel. Try to do something about that.

OR :

Scooter - Awakening. Again - a very good song but they screwed it up with that weird beat. Try to skip the beat.

AND DO NOT FORGET TO SEND ME YOUR WORK.

often agree. it somewhat is quite uncommon that a good remake is finished. the only good one that includes thoughts top now became into Tesla's disguise of the music "indicators", initially completed by skill of the 5 guy electric powered Band.

Al Green - Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.

It made a lot of money for him and has the potential to do the same for you.
