The amount of time between a person leaving behind anger is usually directly proportionate to how much hurt was caused by what triggered the anger. Anger is a response to perceived slights, either great or small.
So, I suppose the answer is, "It depends".
I have actually hit an age where it is actually a very, very small amount of time. Life is way too short to nurture anger, and it is totally counter productive.

sometimes a week.. but lets focus our mind on things that are beautiful, not those times that makes us angry or indifferent.. life is too short to be wasted on worries... besides anger and indifferences are counter-productive...

ANGER IS A WORD FOR THE COMBINATION OF FEAR, FRUSTRATION, AND ANXIETY.
IT'S ALL RELATIVE.
SOME GIVE MORE ENERGY TO IT THAN OTHERS.
MAYBE IT DEPENDS ON THEIR LEVEL OF NARCISSISM.
