How can one know that she'll not have hot flashes if she is not having it on peri menopause period.

Or can this occurs during menopause?

Hot flashes can come on in menopause even if they don't happen in pre-menopause. I don't think there is any correlation there.

If you are concerned about hot flashes, talk with your doctor to see if estrogen or some other therapy can help you out. There are some good OTC herbal therapies that I know my mother has had success with.

Good luck.
