if you have a second child, did it take you longer to get pregnant the second time around? Did you try all the time or just when you thought you were ovulating?

im at my 2nd month of my 2nd pregnancy. was trying hard since the beginning of the year, but gave up after 5 months, and enjoyed my sex life to the fullest without the stressed of trying for another baby. 1 month ago, i found out im pregnant!!

so, dont get too stressed about trying to get pregnant.....just relax and enjoy!!

Good Luck!!

oh my gosh! Ok, I had no issue at all with my first child. We were pregnant right after we were married. However, I have been trying for OVER THREE YEARS to try and conceive again. I am on Clomid and although I became pregnant twice, I lost them :( So, I would say that this time around is lots harder. We "try" more when I'm ovulating, but still have sex when I'm not :)

Conceiving gets easier with each child,if the births are all vaginal(not C-section).Just keep trying, and notjust during ovulation time. The time you Ovulate can sometimes pass too quickly for fertilization to occur, and sperm Lasts about 72 Hours(thats a fact). So 4 or 5 days before actual Ovulation is agood bet too.
It worked forme.

The third time I made love, which was during my menstrual cycle, I got pregnant, six weeks after my sons birth, the fourth time my husband & I made love I was got pregnant again, and I was breast feeding...I should not have been ovulating either time...needless to say I had 2 children in 10 and1/2 months.
I guess I should blame it on my fertile parents since I have 13 brothers & sisters.

After my first was born, I breastfed. Due to his job, we weren't together all the time until the baby was 5 months old. We were pregnant by the time she was 13 months. We weren't actively trying, we were just waiting to the baby to come when it wanted to. I breastfed him the first year. For my third child, my second was about 22 months when we got pregnant. We figured babies come when its time.

We didnt not try (i mean we didnt use protection, but we werent openly trying), for about two years, but i never got pregnant either. We just avoided the times when we new i was ovulating, but i expected to get pregnant anyway.

We spent one cycle having sex whenever we felt like it. Thats when i got pregnant, and it just happened to be on the last couple 'light' days of my period.

Well, due to infertility issues, it took me 11 years to conceive my second child. But we actually tried all the time for about 3 years, then gave up.

I'm pregnant right now, and it only took us about 2 months after I stopped the pill. We weren't even actively trying, just letting nature take it's course and I guess we were having sex at the right times, b/c it happened!
