exactly. is there any purpose in saying to yourself "well i feel pretty sad today.. WAIT, lemme look at my handy dandy mood ring and make sure... Yep, i'm pretty sad, my ring says so."..
i agree- rid the world of mood rings-- they are a waste of money

Well, I don't think you need anything to tell you what mood you are in. But, you can wear them for fun.

I personally like them but if you're buying them so that they tell you what mood you are in then yes.. I guess a waste of money.
As far as I know, they change colour according to heat/cold. Trying rubbing one and you will see what I mean.

I know what kind of mood I am in without looking at a ring unless.. (no that's another story! ; ) ) Still if some sucker wants to buy one of those rings I am sure someone somewhere is happy to make money selling them

yes, mood rings are a waste of money.. they have no meaning and change colors due to body temperature... there just cute thats all...

It actually has nothing to do with your mood either, it's the temperature of your hand that really changes the color of the "stone". Mine always turns bright blue (happy) but it's because my hands are always warm.

yes, why do u need a mood ring to tell you how YOU are feeling? you should already noe your feelings, unless you want to tell others how u'r feeling.
