It depends where about in Mexico... But that catalogue is completely wrong, we never have 5 hours of sunshine, not even during the winter. October is great because it is not raining anymore and everything looks green. Try to go to the Pacific Coast: Oaxaca and Chiapas is the best and cheaper! Just avoid Mexico City and Cancun

Not coz of bad weather the weather is brill but clouds can roll in late on still very warm even with the clouds but it is usualy sunny till about 5 or 6 pm enough sunshine for anyone best holiday resort ever you will love it. Have a great time.

I find 5 hrs of sunshine hard to believe but what part of Mexico? It's a very big country.
You can look here for the closest weather station and there is usually a historical weather record, you can check the weather in past years.
