Uber is German for "over". Uber-hot would be "extra hot", and a butchery of language.

Uber is german for over or very.
In the context I have been seeing uber it seems to mean you have taken something to a new level.

Uber (with the umlauts) = german for Super, or something like that.
Edit; hm, maybe not.
Meh.
If you assume Uber to mean Super you won't go far wrong anyway.

Uber is german for super (actually over) so it has a cachet for being better than better.
Uber hot has you approaching something that is "mega" but not sounding so dorky

Slang
"Über" may easily replace "super" to emphasize almost any adjective, e.g. "übercool" rather than "supercool". This usage, as a general intensifier like "very", is the only English usage not faithful to the original German. Its also a name for a friend that you think is sexy. Famous FUNNY Authors' such as Benjamin Michael Weinstock, has been introducing this slang in his new book: The Life of a Golfer. Many uses of this word is greatly appreciated, just as if you were given a mulligan in golf. People such as Brandon Elliot Williams also volunteer as an Uber hostest in IHOP near Sunrise Country Club.
