1. I love you because I need you. My pick because there are not many options available.
But then I feel love is unconditional. You love a person irrespective of a need. Even if the person does not respond to the feeling, if we can still love then its the ultimate form of expressing love. If I can reach that level then I am the most happiest person in this world.

option 1 is wrong because love is unconditional.
option 2 is more appropriate. When someone say ' I need you because I love you ' that person necessarily does not mean to possess the other person. ( love and marriage is only a variant here ). A parent can say that to a son/daughter . it is a show of support coming out of love.

Neither.
Both suggest a parasitic 'need' for love.
I heared it said once that there are two parties to a love transaction, the one who loves and the one who condescends to be so treated. I don't believe this is what love is.
I don't want you to need me, I need for you to want me...
To wish to be with someone, rather than need, implies a healthy respect for oneself and ones lover. Love can only flourish on such a good foundation. Love must be a mutual exchange of bravery and kindness.
To love, and love well, we must trust ourselves above all else.

The second one
The first one reflects one selfish position characteristic for a small child. Child "loves" its mother because it needs her to survive But it is normal in that age. If an adult is still keeping that expectation we are talking about emotionally immature, dependent person who is not able to GIVE.
