I was reading a book about a landmark with my mom it was called Stepping stone all of a sudden i was zapped into the book had a dream that i was alone in like a steping stone river 7 years ago all and was actually there and the only way to get back was to finish the book i saw my friends there but they didnt know me becuz it was in the past. I told them who i was and they still didnt know me. then theyasked m e to stay with them at their motel and i said no. I dont know what this dream means. If you know what it means answer but if you dont know dont answer at all, i also dont want any negative answers. if you do have negativity i am going to report you.

I agree with Isis. You should look at the symbolism of the objects in the dream. A book could represent a book that has already been written, or a series of events that has to unfold a certain way. The part about "the only way to get back is to finish the book" gives me that impression. A river with stepping stones could represent an emotional situation that you are trying to mostly stay out of. This could represent you thinking about something that happened in the past, or some unfinished business that you left behind. Maybe even some guilty feelings.
But don't listen to me. I think too much and I'm usually wrong.

I have read plenty on dream interpretation, and I offer you mine. The idea of you zapping into a book is your quest for something new and different... it's your soul searching. The reason your friends did not recognize you is because you were now someone new and different in their eyes... they knew you from your past, but not from the present. The motel is a very important part of your dream... your friends invite you, but you decline. You view the motel as something temporary and not long-lasting... and it seems to distract you from your true quest of finishing the book. You are determined to find the ending of the book and return to your life... but as a result of your journey, you will be wiser and make better choices.

Since your dream is based on the book. Most likely you dream is triggered by the book. You have to know the content of the book, and what it says.
Basically, it means you have this desire to finish the book and somehow you didn't finish and you fell asleep. You dreamed because it is a unsolved issue. You subconscious mind is telling you to finish it. That's probably what it means. However, it also reflects your personality. You are the one who wants to finish task as soon as they come. If you can't or haven't , you probably feel something bad or unease.

It sounds like maybe you've got some unfinished business with your friends... like maybe there's something major going on with you either personally or in your family that you haven't shared with them yet and you're wondering if you should. It could certainly be something from your past that you just never opened up about.
This sort of dream would be typical of someone who's had a history of being neglected, abused or molested, but who hasn't told even their closest friends about their experiences. There's a part of you that you haven't opened up to them at this point. I'm not saying that you should tell them everything... that's up to you and your level of closeness with each friend... but it just seems that this may the root of the dream.

This is a variation of the dream where people think they are in school again years after they graduate, but something is amiss. You long for the old times, but everything has changed. You want to change and not look back, but inside you miss some of the old times. Relax, you are just changing(maturing) a little.

Well water in your dream represents your emotions. The level of water in the dream represents you level of emotion. If you were in over your head, then emotionally your in over your head. If you were in ankle depe water then your not that emotionally deep. The book could signify a chapter in your life. So maybe your dream is telling you to finish that chapter of your life. That is why your friends would not know about it. If they were not part of your life at that point. Them asking you stay with them and you saying no may mean that your not ready to finish that chapter yet.

I think that you have a fear of being alone in a strange place. Take a trip, be by yourself without the help of your friends and maybe this will cure your problem.
