Firstly, there is no war between Israel and Lebanon, it was between Israel and Hezbollah.
And-It won't be over until Israel's neighbors accept that Israel has the right to exist, and stop inflaming their people with such hate against the jews.
No- it's just a cease fire. And Israel didn't get what they wanted. Hezbollah is now strenghthened on the world stage and has more support from Iran than ever. However- as an organization becomes more visible- they start being looked at under a microscope. So- although Hezbollah will not be disarmed, they may now have to be more responsible to the country in which they live for their actions.
No country can survive and allow a well armed well trained powerful militia to live within its borders funded from the outside. It's very destabilizing and tends to lead to civil wars.

No it's not over and it won't be for some time. All this recent little hiccup did was make the rift between Muslims and the West bigger and wider and deeper. I personally think that the west should just leave the place alone and let it sort itself out. Israel should definitely start making some compromises to show that it wants to deal peacefully. I know you can't do that with terrorists but if the only thing you do is shoot back no questions asked then you only make them stronger by making them martyrs.

They just aren't fighting right now. As long as Hezbollah exists as an armed group within the government of Lebanon there will be more fighting eventually.
Hezbollah exists to try and destroy Israel. If they don't start something periodically they lose power.

Only way to end the war is to make enemies your friends. Stop issuing bitter statment, such statements may satisfy your ego but are always counter productive. Do not feel shy in increasing contact with your enemies. Making contacts with the enemies does not mean that you are deviating from your cause.
President Bush has some road map. He should take serious steps.
The war is not over.

Hardly. The recent Israeli incursion into the Bekaa valley suggests that Israel wants to bring it to a boil again to attempt to achieve what they failed to do the first time.
