I had a question.

My wife is 10 days past her LMP (Last Menstruation Period). Shw is trying to get pregnant. She has tried pregnancy test kit, but the results have been negative.

Could it be that blood test be more accurate?

How many days after the LMP would she know whether she is pregnant or not?

A blood test would pick it up now with near 100% or 100% accuracy because it merely measures the level of HCG in the blood. A home pregnancy test is less accurate because it relies on the amount of HCG secreted in the urine at the time of the test. I would say to go to the OB/gyn to get a blood test and to find out, if she is not pregnant, why she has not gotten her period. If her periods are off, she may not be ovulating consistently, making it more difficult to conceive-good luck!

10 days prolly isnt long enough. Her hgc level needs to be higher. I didnt show psitive until about 1.5 months after a missed period. Id say wait a few weeks. If she wants to know earlyer then get a blood test done. If a pee tests comes out positive chances are its acurate cuz the lines are only activated from the hgc hormone.

Oh and if she had her LMP 10 days ago-shes prolly not pregnant cuz that means last month she didnt get pregnant, the cycle has just restarted, so have lots of sex in the next 2-6 days and shell have good chances of getting pregagnt cuz she should be ovulating.....wait 4 weeks and test again. From what you say here your wife just had her period 10 days ago?

The blood test is more accurate. If you guys are trying to conceive the stress from all of it and wanting to be pregnant can throw your period off. I would wait another week and take another take home test before going to the doctor.

She should go to her doctor's a get a blood test. I once tried a home pregnancy test when I was late and it came out negative too. About 7 1/2 months later I had my son.

A blood test can pick up on a much lower level of the human growth hormone. Home pregnancy test require such a high amount in the system that it is even being passed in the urine.
