Nuclear energy is no ones right. We shouldn't even HAVE nuclear energy or weapons. It will be the end of the world and cause a lot of pain and suffering and will choke the atmosphere. The planet will be a nuclear wasteland. Man is trying to harness something more powerful than him.

The question is not nuclear energy as a form of power production. The issue here is nuclear proliferation and keepng nuclear weopons away from rogue states like Iran.

Still absolutely. They are an independent nation after all. What right have we to dictate how they run their country? Are we after all, afraid of them? If they get the weapons, we have to run and cower in the corner?
Or should we just charge right in there and turn them into America East?
Oh, wait. That's why they want the weapons....

only if they do the responsible things with it. i.e. if the US just lobs one for no good reason they will fall in civil war and all treaties and pacts will be null and void. that and UN boot them out of almost everything and the US will plunge from No. 1 in economy stakes to 50. the problem with Iran is than anyone with a different opinion is killed as a result only 100% support remains.

Sure, we should give nukes to any country that asks for them and as many as they want. We should give them to Sri Lanka and the Tamil tigers,after all it's their right, we should give them to Jemah Islamaiah, after all it's their right, we should give them to Venezuela, after all it is their right, we should give them to Bosnia, after all it is their right, we should give them to Somalia, after all it is their right, we should give them to a couple of dozen other countries in Africa, after all it is their right, shall I go on?and after we do that I give life on planet earth all of about 24 hrs.
