Sycamore grows like a weed and can be a nuisance, I'd be surprised if you didn't end up with loads of tree seedlings without doing anything. Wait til they're ripe ripe, broadcast them and cover them with soil where you want them to grow. They also make great bonsai trees.

You don't have to do anything, just put them on some soil and they will grow.

I've even got one growing out of the bark of a huge willow tree at the bottom of my garden.

Be careful what you wish for, next summer you will find they are coming up everywhere!

Ditto to Linda's answer - they grow ALL over my garden in the spring! If I didn't pull them up I'd be living in the modern equivalent of Sleeping Beauty's castle!
