What would be the best way for aliens to take over our world. 1. Come down in a blaze of glory and blow us to heck or 2. silently infiltrate our society taking over power of our goverments and social services and in effect ruling us without our knowledge.

1 is my pick. But this "aliens" idea is best only when its on celluloid. What the heck because "we have got the Men in Black, Galaxy defenders."
Hooray!! They would spring into action to nullify all their efforts to overpower human race. Oh boy! I need to grow up and out of that comic book world.

I think some insects are aliens. I'm not afraid of them but many bite and spread disease.

If they are much more advanced than us, they can do whatever they want. They could cause panic if they decided to just attack and in that way, defeat us.
