The Middle East will run out first in about 100-150 years from now. USA oil will last a hundred years after that (we are not pumping much of our oil now, plus we stockpile a National Reserve). If it runs out, we will be able to adapt, plenty of fuel sources out there, a bunch are being researched now. Oil will not be what does humans in... It will be fresh water!

Trick question - it will last for a very long time, but...
There's a phenomenon known as Hubbert's peak, the point where oil "production" starts declining. Some, such as Kenneth Deffeyes, say that peak's been and gone.

the oils in the sense ,crude oils are gonna last only for about 100-150 yrs.
it doesnt mean the end of the world cuz there are many alternative sources for energy

now the world may run out of oil but, there is always another way. methanol is a one way there other ways in the gears too. tho we may see an end to humankind as we know it, That is already happening in the world today with the terror we all feel. Take care god bless

About 20-30 years, depending on whether we find more.
However, the world will not end. There are many alternative source of energy. They are just more expensive, thats all.
However, the world economy will undergo some roller coaster ride ~

I work in an oil refinery so trust me when I say. Not in your lifetime. Or your grandchildrens. We will probably kill the planet by burning it before we run out.
