What do I do if I washed my tracfone ?

I accidently washed my sons tracfone and was told I can dry it out for a few days and it should work. Has anyone done this?

yes just take battery out and let it dry for a few days. it may not work. but most times it does,.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I work for a cell provider and only 1 outta 10 times do I ever see a phone work after getting wet, and even then they have ongoing problems with service and signal plus the extras (phone, games etc.) don't always work afterward. Long story short go get a new phone.

There is a possibility it will work. I had one that worked after drying out and another one that worked until the buttons shortened out a couple of days later, just depends on how the phone was put together. GL!

Take it apart as much as you can and let it sit in a warm room for the whole day, they will usually dry out and then start working again. And yes I have done it twice. LOL!!!

Throw it away and go with Net10. 10 cents a minute no matter where you call. Buy a $30 card (300 minutes) every two months. It cost me $15 a month and my minutes roll over.

sometimes they work but you may have to get a new one. Just wait about three days- a week and see if it dries out. We've washed 2 phones, one worked and one never did..............

Take it apart and let it dry and it just might work. I did that with my phone and it worked just fine.Good luck!

I doubt it but do not turn it on for a week or two. If you do and there is any water at all in it you will short it out.

tracphones r like 20$ so no real loss if it dont work it problly wont cut my dads washed3 and they never dried out
