How do I change the face plate for a LG6100 cell phone?

They sell face plate replacements, but I can't figure out how to get the original plate off. I know there must be a way, but I don't want to break the phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Take it to the person that sold you the faceplate and they should do it. This may however void the manufacturer's warentee though so be careful!
