Talk to God. Ask him to help you to fall asleep quickly and not to be afraid. He is always with you day and night, and he can help you to have a peaceful night of sleep.

Go to sleep listening to a nice, relaxing, slow song with someone singing in it so that you consentrate on what the person says instead of your fears. Try the song 'Samson' by Regina Spektor or 'The Music of the Night' from the Phantom of the Opera (movie) soundtrack.

Dont try to bug yourself, or barge some other things scary
to think about it...
I will try to help you, if it works for you..okay,
Try to think and remember the things that you did the day..(I mean the things that you done at work, yourself..etc...) Make it somewhat...DeJavu..
Repeatitively..If not yet sleepy..Continue..in couple of times..
(make it sure, your eyes are closed)
And you will not notice, you are in a deep sleep..
But..First, Pray before you sleep..

create a fantasy as you lie down with your eyes closed...imagine acting a sort of story line (which only you know about) ...a nice day with a special friend at the beach, for example...you will find yourself falling asleep whilst focusing on dreaming up nightly installments...and the scary things will be the furthest things from your thoughts

Spend the last half hour or so engrossed in something nice before going to bed. Go to sleep with calm, relaxing music in the background or relaxing noise like a rainstorm or beach.

I'm serious, not joking, Read erotic literature. The dreams you have as a result will be steamy, and you wont be thinking of anything terrifying unless you read some of that really sick stuff.

By not thinking of anything scary. All humans have a multitude of things to think about, And it they think about it they really chose the things that they want to think about. So chose something else.............
