I bet that it would depend on the area you live in. My area the cost is $72.00 per square yard delivered. Call your local plant for your delivered price. If you purchased the ready mix by the back you would spend more for the yard of concrete. Are you going to form up and pour yourself. This is a job even a novice can perform if they have the right information available. To figure the number of yards needed you get square footage and thickness of the slab. 1 cubic foot of concrete will cover 3 square feet at 4" thick. 27 cubic feet in a yard, 81 square feet coverage at 4" thick. Be sure to figure the additional concrete needed for the footings.

delivered, a truck can carry 6 yards, think about it, the delivery charge is the same for 1 yd or 6 so call and ask once you figure out how much you need. a patio is 4 in thick and a yd is 3x3x3 or 27 cubic feet. divided by 3 = 81 sq. ft patio. or 8 x 10

compute first the quantity.. V = L x W x H L = lenght = 14 yards W = width = 5 yards H = height = 0.seventy 5 yards V = 14 x 5 x 0.seventy 5 = fifty two.5 cubic yards Multiply this fee with fee of concrete according to cubic backyard (that's $4.seventy 5) to get the completed fee of concrete: entire fee OF CONCRETE = quantity x Concrete fee according to cubic backyard = fifty two.5 x 4.seventy 5 = $249.375
