god save the queen stems from the belief that god actually chose the royal statute, (they were chosen by god to protect their kingdom).....if god exists then yes he would save the queen ( hell shes 80 hes already saving her) the big question is "would he bless america?"

It is a form of prayer, turned song, asking God to Save our Queen, but then we all need to be saved, and that includes the Queen. There is only one way to do that and that is by putting your faith in Jesus Christ and then it becomes a personal relationship with yourself and God.

As a born-again-Christian, I know the need for people to come to God and find a new life in Christ. Whether it's Joe Public or the Royal Family. The only way to live your life to the full is by putting your faith in Jesus. Then not only will He Save you but, His Holy Spirit will tell you what is right and what is wrong. This is a real personal experience which only the sincere Christian can know the reality of.

If the Queen is a born-again-Christian, then God will save her, but then that's between Queen Elizabeth and Jesus our Saviour, only she will know the answer to that one, as well as God, of course...!

I think God would save the Queen as a jpeg file so he could gaze upon her regal countenance whenever the spirit took Him.

If there is a god, Why should he, if god is even male? God would probably have an infinite amount of things to do at any time, that were infinitely more important, keeping existence balanced being one of the things he has to do.

Yes it was probably a historical thing, whereby everyone had to act loyal to the monarchy, and invoke blessings from some "god".
Of course now, with the demise of most monarchies, and even religions, it is redundant.
