This is my opinion if he's the one that is going for the divorce then make him pay for everything. Talk to your lawyer about all of this. I was married for 36 yrs. and because of my financial situation all of my legal fees, etc.... were waived I'm very sorry and hold your head up high and try not to look back and move forward, it will take time, I know. Good luck!

Have you filed for a divorce yet ? make sure your attorney stipulates that in your divorce papers also try to get spousal support at least for a year or so all the judge can say is no,So do not leave out anything you want you never know what side of the bed the Judge woke up on.

You can try but may not be successful. My ex made a lot more than I did. He had a very expensive lawyer and we agreed on most terms. So I got a paralegal to review the paperwork and write letters for under $200. I am financially better off now than he is.

You have been only married for 9 months, he labored and paid the expenses, you filed for divorce. you're unlikely to love this, yet till you have some substantial abuse factors, which you will teach, you're no longer getting a piece. If I have been him, i may well be suing you for fraud and extortion, and asking the marriage be annulled on the grounds of fraud, extortion, and mis representation. i might additionally document you for achieveable SSI fraud. A 9 month marriage would not entitle you paid expenses and lawyer expenditures and an advantage. when I get somewhat indignant at some one, I returned off, and woman (making use of the term loosely) you're a female that makes me very very mad. After 3 divorces of my own, i've got by no skill considered this way of extortion tried by skill of all and sundry.

some of this sounds familiar except mine was too boring to want another woman. Keep dreaming. You need help and he isnt going to give it to you unless he is forced BY YOUR LAWYER. I HOPE YOU HAVE SAVINGS.

You can't make him do anything. It could be negotiated in your agreement unless you go to trial. Divorces are no fault nowadays so him having another woman is no defense. Good luck.

sure you can if the circumstances are right. I had my ex- wife pay for it once it was proven that the reason for the divorce was because I had proof she cheated on me twice. Not because of the stories she made up about me. Sex, lies and videotape.

Yep. It can be written into the divorce decree. Your lawyer will know how to do it.
