did any of you see the x factor last night , that was one heck of a mother in -law, I thought she was great. SIMON MET HIS MATCH WITH THIS ONE!!!

I have never seen anyone so nervous as the 16 year old boy , he nearly had everone in tears with him i was glad he got through

i did indeed! i loved it! an 86 yr old woman putting simon in his place and making him feel so small! that old lady rocks!

I did not see it all. The only part I did see was when the young lad started crying. I felt so sorry for him.
Maybe he should have taken it as a sign that he is really not emotionally mature enough for it. If he were to win the whole show , how would he cope with being apart from his family & all the other pressures that fame would bring with it?

i think now big brother has gone off, the X factor gives us something else to talk about other than the normal hum drum of proper life. i have to admit i cried when the 16 year old lad that was so nervous got through! i love reality TV!! x

btw, i think x factor is a load of rubbish but its funny to watch the auditions, cos some ppl are such morons!

It was hilarious!! more like a comedy in places. feel sorry for the 16 year old kid. and im afraid i have to say i like simon cowell cos he doesnt bu**sh*t like the others, he just gives an honest realistic answer. however, the old lady was funny

Yep that was v.good - she put Simon in his place but it a funny and dignified way (by not threatening him or chucking water, yawn). Getting him to say sorry was amazing I doubt we will hear that from him for a while!

A good way to start the new series.

yeah she was really funny, Simon looked so embarrassed! The guy who sang the Michael Jackson song was funny too - the one who nearly broke the set!

yh it was sssoooo funny!!!! i loved that mother in law. I am so glad that 16 year old nervous kid got in - he deserved it. I have never seen a kid shake like that before. AWWWWW

i don't like the teach or any teach that treats human beings the way they do and ruin the hearts of persons the way they do and bear in mind SIMON COWELL & CO HAVE MADE thousands and thousands OUT OF THIS and the heartbreak they reason they could be banned so i believe you X aspect X aspect X aspect!!!!??? Is that sufficient X aspect now?? do we end happening about it, please???xx end those PROGRAMMES ALTOGETHER placed THE YALIBAN in value they'll quickly have them stopped

was a great start to the series, laughed at the older woman who wouldn't stop singing when the Judges said no? She was awful. :D
