It is a common diversionary tactic. It is to stop the arguement right there and turn you into an agressor. Once it is said there is no intelligent way to continue the conversation.
The talk is ended and you are labeled a bigot. Even if incorrect it works. Its kind of like kids arguing on the playground and one responds "I'm right you're wrong, na-na-poo-poo". It stops the conversation because there is no response, if you don't respond it must be true.

First let me clarify that the term "Anti-Semitic" is used wrongfully to describe either anti Jewish or people who would criticize Israel. In fact the term Semitic describes a group of people speaking Semitic languages such as; Aramaic, Arabic, Hebrew and other northern African languages.
As for your question, the America media is under great Jewish influence it has no choice but to play along. The strategy is, if you can scare every thinker who would ever criticize the state of Israel by labeling him as "Anti-Semitic" you can control the number of people that would speak out against the State of Israel of the Jewish influence on our government.
From personal experience, whenever My self or others engage in some political debates and the Jews issue is brought up, people tend to whisper "The Jews" instead of using their normal tone, which could explain how much influence those groups managed to apply to our way of life and our way of thinking.

Because Israel doesn't commit crimes against humanity - so by saying Israel does you are making up lies about Jews and being an anti-Semite. Its really pretty silly argument you have going there.

What crimes against humanity? Are you insinuating that Israelis are the only people who attack other countries? Was 911 a crime against humanity? How about the BEHEADING and mutilation of Nick Berg, Paul Johnson, Eugene Armstrong, Kim Sun-Il, Jerry Zovko, Mike Teague, Scott Helvenston? And what about the kidnapping of Eldad Regev, Ehud Goldwasser and Gilad Shalit?
So you want to talk about crimes against humanity. One is classified as an anti-Semite because the one sided "mentions" are only about what great evil Israel is and AVOIDS the conversation about muslim extremist crimes against Israel and humanity. Hello.

The only thing anti semitic abot gibson was f-ing jews. Would anyone stop Tom cruise for saying arabs are responsible for all the wars or even muslims. People do mwntion israels war crimes but Fox Sky CNN and all the newspapers know how to hide it well (when everyone is asleep). That was something i didnt expect to see on sk but still is good.

- or you could ask why god will favor one son over the other ? or bless the son who lies to his father ? or when an Israeli prophet commit a sin he is forgiven immediately and when non-jew commit the same sin he will be punish immediately !

this is trick to bully the world.it is said in arabic about sacrife of animals-' it is strange system of sacrife that the person who is sacrificing animals get reward and poor animals,nothing' so is the sace of israel.it doing crime against humanity but when someone call it against humanity but it get anti semite and if israel doing anything then calling it for national saftey. so one arrow and two animals.

Arabs are semites too so when crimes are committed against these semites(arabs) we should be very vocal.
I wonder how far Isreal would have to go before people stop appoligizing for them--If they use nukes, chemical weapons or mass genocide, there will still be people calling this acceptable.

Anti Israel yes but not Jews.
there are some good honest jews who oppose those crimes as well.
